 About this Wonderful Lady!
Mini Bio: From the moment she first came before the WWE Universe, Natalya realized that competing in WWE was a gift, one she would utilize to its fullest extent. Of course, being trained in the legendary Hart Family Dungeon alongside a few famous family members didn't hurt either. Despite a profound desire to forge her own path, there's no denying that Natalya possesses the "hart" to reach new heights in the ring. Whether creating havoc as part of The Hart Dynasty, executing the family Sharpshooter or stepping out on her own to capture the Divas Championship, the fiery third-generation Diva has shown time-and-time again that the legendary Pink & Black legacy is safe in her hands. Natalya and Tamina Took on Eva Marie and Doudrop in tag team action. It was a non-title match but if Eva and Doudrop win they would later get a tag title shot.

Eva Marie and Natalya start the match with a lock up, eva quickly retreats into the ropes and stalls as she tags in Doudrop, Natalya and Doudrop lock up, Doudrop drops Natalya with a big shoulder then a Drop with a forward roll to dodge Natalya. Doudrop tangles some more and rolls Natalya for a 2 count.

Natalya looks to sell a right knee injury but may be a legit injury as she then goes to tag Tamina, Tamina gets a headlock on Doudrop and then takes her down with a headlock but Tamina can’t seem to muscle Doudrop up so Doudrop takes control and hits a crossbody while Tamina is on the mat. Doudrop tags in Eva and she goes for the pin but Tamina kicks out.

A video start to play on the big screen with Alexa’s Bliss’s Lilly doll saying This is the Lilly-lution, mocking the original Eva-lution vignettes. Eva distracted by the mock promo she then turns around and Tamina connects with a superkick, Tamina goes for the pin fall and wins the match.

After the match, a ringside medic seems to help Natalya to the back and the injury may be legit. We will keep up with this story and try to keep everyone updated. We hope Natalya will be ok and the injury is not a serious one.

I can’t express how much fun it was to perform once again in front of live crowds this past week at Smackdown, Money In the Bank and Monday Night Raw in Texas. It was our first time back in front of a live audience since WrestleMania and for SmackDown and Raw, nearly 70 weeks of waiting for this moment. Everyone’s excitement levels were through the roof and everything felt different being reunited with our WWE Universe in a way that made it all worth it. Walking out through the curtain and seeing sold-out crowds reminded me that there for sure was a light at the end of the tunnel.

This past week was a whirlwind but in the best way possible. Not only do Tamina Snuka and I have some fresh competition on Smackdown with the debut of a new women’s tag team, Shotzi and Tegan Nox, but this year’s Money in the Bank Ladder match was one for the ages. In front of a sold-out crowd in Houston, Texas, I competed against seven other women including Zelina Vega, Liv Morgan, Nikki A.S.H., Tamina Snuka, Asuka, Alexa Bliss and Naomi for the chance to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase. After being a part of one of the most gruelling ladder matches I’ve ever been in (I’ve got a few bruises to prove it!), it was Nikki A.S.H. who won the ladder match. Less than a day later, Nikki cashed in on Charlotte Flair on Raw to become the new Raw Women’s Champion. What a difference a day can make and Nikki is proof of that.

Of course, all of the women of WWE want to be Women’s Champion, but watching Nikki win it this past Monday made me so happy for her. I know I wasn’t the only one feeling that way. I’ve known her for years and I know how hard she has worked to prove that she belongs in WWE, from training in the ring on her days off to keeping a positive attitude even when times are tough. This past WrestleMania, I remember Nikki sitting backstage, watching all of the other women go out and get ready for their performances. She hugged and congratulated us all when we got back from our matches and showed so much support. I knew she wanted to be a part of the excitement of WrestleMania, too, but she never stopped smiling while working towards her goals. Nikki kept her eye on the prize and it paid off, as hard work always does. And in the words of Bret Hart: “the biggest dreams do come true.”

Natalya Talks About Her Longevity In WWE – 7/21/2021

Published by:
  2021/07/21

Natalya made an appearance on Booker T’s Hall of Fame podcast to discuss a wide range of topics.

During it, she opened up on her longevity in WWE. She’s been with the company since 2007.

“For me, it’s been crazy because time has just flown. I know I started in WWE in 2007 and debuted on SmackDown in 2008, but it wasn’t until the pandemic that a fan, somebody on social media, brought it to my attention that I had the most matches of any woman in WWE history and the most wins. I would also think the most losses too (she laughs). I never bring that up. It was so cool because I was like ‘Wait, that can’t be right’, but then all of a sudden WWE did a fact check for it because I wanted to be able to say it on TV.

It’s so cool because I think what’s going to be so much longevity is finding something extraordinary, and finding something great in every single opponent that I’ve had. To get to WWE, to get to the level we are at in WWE, you have to be great. I believe there is greatness inside of everyone, whether it’s Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Sasha Banks, Naomi, Tamina Snuka, and the list goes on and on. When I had that match with Charlotte Flair in 2014, nobody really knew who she was.

I just saw so much potential in her. That’s what I love about my career in WWE is finding something great inside everybody, and helping people realize something they didn’t know they had inside themselves. In return, I find something great inside of me. That’s been my secret to longevity. Of course, I have Neidhart genetics, knock on wood. When I was growing up, I used to curse my dad. I would be like, ‘Damn it. I’m this thick girl because of my dad.’ My dad was a shot putter. Before my dad came to WWE, he played in the NFL, and he was a world class shot putter. My dad was really stocky. Thank God for my dad’s genetics because those Neidhart genetics kept me really safe.”
