 About this Wonderful Lady!
Mini Bio: From the moment she first came before the WWE Universe, Natalya realized that competing in WWE was a gift, one she would utilize to its fullest extent. Of course, being trained in the legendary Hart Family Dungeon alongside a few famous family members didn't hurt either. Despite a profound desire to forge her own path, there's no denying that Natalya possesses the "hart" to reach new heights in the ring. Whether creating havoc as part of The Hart Dynasty, executing the family Sharpshooter or stepping out on her own to capture the Divas Championship, the fiery third-generation Diva has shown time-and-time again that the legendary Pink & Black legacy is safe in her hands. I thought I would take advantage this week to talk about my recent experience in the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

I have competed in three ladder matches throughout my career, which is something I do not take for granted. I remember the first time I was in a ladder match I was extremely nervous. As awkward as it is to manoeuvre a ladder around the squared circle, there is an incredible art to “excellently executing” a ladder match. Just ask Bret (The Hitman) Hart, who was a part of the very first ladder match in WWE history against Shawn Michaels.

This year at “Money In The Bank,” the other female participants who hadn’t been in a ladder match were feeling that same pressure and anxiety as I had the year before. Everyone was excited but nervous, as we all wanted this ladder match to be a success. Sure Lana, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Ember Moon were my opponents and my competition in the match, but it doesn’t mean I can’t pay some of my experience forward in helping them succeed, too. The first piece of advice I gave the other participants was originally given to me by legendary Fit Finlay. He suggested we research the past and watch a few other ladder matches. I went back and watched one of the most famous ladder matches of all time with Edge and Christian, The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz from WrestleMania in 2000. This match was not only innovative, but helped to show off each Superstar’s grit, determination, creativity and athletic ability. Everything they did in the match revolved around that ladder and telling a compelling story.

Calgary Sun Article/Interview with Natalya for last week 6/23/20...

Update on Natalya’s Calgary Sun column:

I am not sure why but it has been an issue getting Nattie’s Calgary Sun weekly Column on their website and it has not been appearing on their page. Last week when it was not a article i thought maybe it was because Nattie was on a vacation in Tahoe and filming Total Divas but that was not the case. I have reach out to Calgary Sun on Twitter to find out if their might be an error on their website but is yet to hear a response. We hope it will be resolved.

For now here is Nattie’s Column from last week that all of a sudden appeared on their page when i googled it.

Column from 6/23/2018

Have any of you ever tried to host a party or gathering and it didn’t quite turn out how you expected it? Admittedly, I’m not the world’s greatest hostess, but this recently happened to me. This past Father’s Day I really wanted to surprise my dad with something different, so I decided it would be a great idea to invite 20 of our closest friends and family and do it up big for my dad. What could be better? Famous last words!

I went all out; I bought fresh flowers and candles and fancy soap for my bathrooms. I went overboard at the grocery store buying everything I could to feed a large group of people. I also wanted to get my dad’s favourite snacks and drinks because, after all, this whole party was in honour of him. Rice crispy treats and chocolate chip cookies were priorities, just what “The Anvil” likes.

I also invited some larger than life guests: WWE Superstars Titus O’Neil and the lovely Lana, both of whom I never share a dull moment with.

Earlier that day, I made the mistake of getting veggie hot dogs and tilapia when everyone (especially Titus) wanted T-Bone steak. The barbeque was getting close, but thankfully, my mom set sail for the grocery store 10 minutes down the street for an easy fix on my “little mistake.”

Natalya Interview with the Sun – Desire to face Ronda Rous...

Published by:

Natalya chats exclusively to SunSport about the rise of the ‘women’s evolution’ and her future aspirations. Natalya also reveals her desire to go one-on-one with Ronda Rousey.

If Ronda beats Nia Jax for the Raw Women’s Championship this Sunday at Money in the Bank – and Natalya wins the MITB match for a guaranteed title shot – the match could happen.

Speaking exclusively to Sun Sport, Natalya talked about the women’s division, the subject of new DVD doc Then, Now, Forever: The Evolution of WWE’s Women’s Division (out June 25).

As a 10-year WWE veteran, Natalya has experienced major changes in women’s competition and says Ronda Rousey will be a “huge part of the future of the women’s division.”

On a potential match with the former UFC champ – which would be a ready-made mentor vs student feud – Natalya said: “I would love to face Ronda.

“I know we could have an incredible match and it would bring out the best in her and myself. But I think Ronda brings out the best in everyone she works with.”

There’s a reason that Natalya was picked to train Ronda. As part of the famous Hart family, she has wrestling in her blood. She’s also an incredible performer in her own right.

But Natalya – the daughter of WWE legend Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart – thinks Ronda Rousey is a naturally gifted grappler too.

“But one of the great things about her is that she doesn’t think she has all the answers.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of working alongside Maria Shriver at an event in New York City. I had no idea that the time spent with her would be life-changing.

Maria was hosting an event, or shall I say “movement,” called “Move For Minds.” The event theme was to raise awareness in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, brain health and what we can all do now to live a healthier life.

I was excited and nervous to meet Maria. She’s empowering and a person that I and so many others have looked up to.

I had hoped I wouldn’t say the wrong thing or stumble over my words when introducing myself to her. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s disease and passed away in 2000 and I appreciated that Maria is a person who has also been affected by Alzheimer’s, as her father passed away from it too.

I felt we had a lot in common, but I didn’t know how much she would inspire me until after I heard her talk and after I read her book I’ve Been Thinking.

Maria gave me her book as a gift and graciously autographed it for me, even including a little message. This was just another reminder to me that everything she does has her own personal touch to it. Maria’s book is a book of “reflections, prayers and meditations for a meaningful life.”

This week on twitter @diegp77 asked me what I did to celebrate my birthday. I used to dread my birthday because I didn’t want to get older, but now I found myself using every excuse to celebrate for the entire month of May. The older I get, the more excited I am about living my best life.

This past birthday had me appreciating everything so much more, including my relationships with my husband TJ, my incredible family and friends, my precious kitties and my home. I’m also enjoying an action-packed career in WWE where I get to travel the world and meet so many incredible people doing what I love.

My close friends, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Nia Jax, Lana and Paige threw me the most awesome birthday bash in South Beach, Miami. It was such a fun girls trip and it gave us a chance to really bond and reconnect in ways we haven’t done in years.

Miami is beautiful. We all put on our bathing suits and enjoyed the sun, sand, ocean and exotic restaurants on every corner. This birthday I wanted to feel different and learn something new. With that in mind, Nikki Bella gave me the coolest gift I’ve ever received for my birthday. She knows that I love to dance even though I am not that great of a dancer. Since Nikki has performed on Dancing With The Stars in the past, she surprised me and all of the girls on our trip with private dance lessons from Dancing With The Stars Coaches. It was a dream come true and so exciting to be a part of.

Sharna Burgess was our coach and was amazing. From the beginning she was full of confidence and passion for dance which transcended to us, her “students.” I told her that I used to dance when I was a kid, doing tap, jazz and ballet and that I wasn’t the best at it. Sharna set my mind at ease and said to me something that really stuck with me, “dancing is about having fun and living in the moment! If you do that, you can’t go wrong.”

For a long time, I’ve wanted to write about Titus O’Neil, a very special person who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk.

Titus is truly one of the kindest, most genuine, hardest working people I know. He gives back in so many ways and is involved in more charity work than any person I’ve met.

Despite traveling more than 300 days a year, Titus manages to balance his multiple community outreach programs with being a WWE Superstar and most importantly, a doting father and flawless role model for his two sons, Thaddeus Jr. and TJ. Titus is always there to help a friend and has always been there for me.

Whether you’re a friend in need, or an underprivileged youth in need of some kindness or support, you can count on Titus.

I asked Titus how his humble upbringing shaped him to be stronger.

He told me: “My mother was the victim of sexual assault and I was a product of that unfortunate circumstance. She did all that she could with little to no money most of the time and set an incredible example for me with her work ethic. Despite my mother’s hardships, she was always a very giving person and our struggles allowed us to see how to get by with minimal resources. It also taught me important life lessons and because of that I learned how to work, not just for what I wanted, but also for what I needed and what my family would also need in the future. My test became my testimony and my ‘mess became my message.”

Titus has proven that you don’t have to be held back by your past, but rather that hardships can make you stronger and even more driven and successful. Our lives are all enriched because of the example Titus’s mother set for him, shaping him into the great friend and person he is today.
