 About this Wonderful Lady!
Mini Bio: From the moment she first came before the WWE Universe, Natalya realized that competing in WWE was a gift, one she would utilize to its fullest extent. Of course, being trained in the legendary Hart Family Dungeon alongside a few famous family members didn't hurt either. Despite a profound desire to forge her own path, there's no denying that Natalya possesses the "hart" to reach new heights in the ring. Whether creating havoc as part of The Hart Dynasty, executing the family Sharpshooter or stepping out on her own to capture the Divas Championship, the fiery third-generation Diva has shown time-and-time again that the legendary Pink & Black legacy is safe in her hands. WrestleMania is just days away and as I write this, I’m in New York where WWE has literally taken over! From WWE Axxess, NXT Takeover, Hall of Fame, Raw, Smackdown Live and of course WrestleMania, New York and New Jersey are getting the ultimate WWE experience.

Excitement is in the air as we approach WrestleMania! More than 80,000 people will be on hand to celebrate and witness history in the making, while 180 countries from around the world will be able to tune into WWE Network on April 7 live from MetLife Stadium!

I think this will be the best WrestleMania in history. For example, my close friend Kofi Kingston is getting a title shot for the WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan. This match is important to me because I started my career in WWE the same time as Kofi started his. To see Kofi rise to the top in WWE and get a once in a lifetime WrestleMania moment is so rewarding because it shows us all that dreams really do come true! I feel that this is Kofi’s year. I keep tweeting (along with everyone else) ‘KOFIMANIA!’ You’ve got this, Kof.

Highlights of Natalya’s Interview

You and Beth Phoenix face Sasha Banks and Bayley, Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka, and The IIconics in a fatal four-way this Sunday. How ya feeling about it?

I feel excited, and I also feel prepared. Beth and I have been training together, and it’s awesome because she’s just a beast. The first time she got back in the ring, she was tossing bodies around and walking with three girls on her shoulders! And this match is like old school meets the women’s division: We’re The Hart Foundation, Sasha and Bayley are The Rockers, Nia and Tamina are The Wild Samoans, and The IIconics are The Killer Bees. No offense to the women main event-ing WrestleMania, but this match is gonna steal the show. I don’t wanna give any spoilers, but you never know when a legend is gonna pop up

The night before this year’s WrestleMania, The Hart Foundation will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. What does that mean to you?

It’s just such a great feeling that all these people are going to share in my dad’s memory. And when you look at the reach of the WWE Network … over 180 countries and 20,000 people live are going to get to watch what my dad achieved, and they’re gonna understand what he meant to me. My dad is going to have the best seat in the house, and I know that he’s gonna be with us. He’s with us now. And he’s with me every day.

It feels great to say that my dad, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart is going to be in the WWE Hall of Fame! He is joining my uncle, Bret Hart, as The Hart Foundation is getting inducted into the class of 2019 WWE Hall of Fame, and I couldn’t be more excited!

WWE broke the news this past Monday ahead of Monday Night Raw. I was so happy thinking about what this honour would mean to my dad if he were here today. The first person I reached out to was my uncle Bret. He’s always been somebody that I’ve been close to and who I’ve looked up to. If you’re an aspiring wrestler, Bret Hart is usually at the top of the list for inspiration. To see “The Hitman” get this honour with my dad makes it even better because they both were part of one of the greatest WWE tag teams of all time. They created this team together and they proved to the world that not only were they unstoppable in the ring but that “real men wore pink!”

Bret and I talked about how we both wished that my dad could be here to accept this Hall of Fame induction but we know he would have been so thrilled at this honour.  My dad excelled at so many sports in his life. Everything from professional football to being a world-class shot putter, but nothing meant as much to my dad as what he accomplished in the ring as a WWE Superstar. My dad really wanted to be in the Hall Of Fame and it was something we talked about a lot. I kept telling him not to worry and that it was all about timing and it would eventually happen. It was my promise to my dad to see his career honored as I wanted to help keep his legacy alive.

I absolutely loved being back in Edmonton for the Road To WrestleMania tour and the crowd was electric! I know that Edmonton and Calgary have had their “rivalries” in the past, but I felt that solid Alberta love through and through. In the past I have been accused by Dolph Ziggler of “claiming all of Canada as my home,” but my love runs deep for my native country.

The WWE live event in Edmonton brought back so many amazing memories of when I was first starting out in my career. I used to perform in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Cold Lake, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Camrose, Kamloops, Kelowna, Surrey and all over Western Canada for Stampede Wrestling. Stampede Wrestling was a promotion started by my grandfather, Stu Hart. When I was competing for them, I would come out “through the curtain” slapping everyone’s hands to my ring song, Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have fun.” I wore a (hideous) pink and black singlet that didn’t quite fit properly and I sported light pink boots with the letters “N” on the sides of each boot.

Sometimes there were a couple hundred people in the crowd, sometimes less than 50 people. We would drive to each town and set up our own ring to perform in at places like The Bowness Sportsplex and The Ogden Legion Hall. Those places became like a second home to myself and so many aspiring young wrestlers. We didn’t care that we weren’t making much money and weren’t famous. We only cared that we were doing something that we loved together. When you have a passion for something, it makes you excited to jump out of bed each day and go for it.

The road to WrestleMania leads us in so many directions, but we have so many amazing things we get to do as WWE Superstars along the way. One of those special days happened this week at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where we met some pretty incredible kids.

This was my fourth visit to the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. This hospital, in particular, is really special to the WWE family, as it’s where Connor’s Cure originated. Connor’s Cure is a fund started by WWE to raise money and awareness to support children with cancer. It was named after a little boy by the name of Connor Michalek. Connor was inspired to keep fighting by WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan and he inspired the entire WWE Universe around the world with his bravery and courage in his battle with cancer. It broke our hearts to lose Connor in 2014, but his memory and legacy live on today in a powerful way thanks to Connor’s Cure.

It was so cool to be able to bring my friends — fellow WWE Superstars Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor — to visit the kids at the hospital. Kelsey, one of the patients there, jumped for joy when Seth walked into the room, and she was even wearing his shirt. I could see the light in her eyes when Seth hugged her and told her he wanted her to come to a live Monday Night Raw taping. We all signed a Championship Title for her and gave it to her as a memory of our visit and as a token that WWE always has her back.
